    Online Casino Vs Landbased Casino

     Saturday, March 27th, 2010

In between practicability and authenticity lies vast disparity. Due to the technological enhancement, we now experience what we see in our everyday life putting their replacements in the cyberspace as well.

Poker playing is one of them.  I perfer to play Baccarat at the UB Poker Room & Casino.  UB.com Poker is a huge poker room with 75 casino games.Cyberspace poker games made their headlines on the websites glittering bright after getting second-hand treatment from the conventional casino cafes. The feasibility of cyberspace poker games such as to have them in our computer within a friendly atmosphere at our own time frame gives internet poker games its due place on the internet, overcoming the land-based poker casinos.

Though huge difference is seen in between playing poker on a computer and a poker gambling in a land-based casino, the game rules remain alike. If you prefer to play poker online you should check out Rush Poker at Full Tilt Poker.  They offer awide range of normal games and som specialty games like 7-Game Mix Poker, Horse poker and Stud - 7 Card Poker.

Benefits: In addition to having control over the sites you are going to play, there are other facilities that can be gained by playing online. Unlike conventional casino places that are situated very far from each other’s or near to the next, as there is no rule that essentially say that they need to be located each opposite the other, one can be able to change their present arena of playing if they play in cyberspaces.

Actual casino playing does not give you extra winning odds, while you can gain the help of many poker institution online that grants free of charge all the necessary advices, pros and cons of the game giving out as many as effective games plans of poker playing in advance before the real money take its due place on online games.

Deciding your own speed: One of the main dissimilarity in between cyberspace poker games and the land-based casino poker game is the speed therein and the prices of the online game. When a player opts to play at cyberspace, he or she has the chance of having as many as tables at one time. This is impossible to achieve in actual casino game where the gambler is confined to only one table. What should take more attention of the wanna be players is that their odds of folding a game are enhanced in magnitude in a very large scale by playing cyberspace poker games than when they play at land-based casinos.

When playing cyberspace poker games, a player is only a click away from gaining extra money on his or her account. In addition, the players online are able to gamble in training spaces that have no rule of charging cash. The conventional casino places reject this option as well. The teaching poker websites are immensely supportive to apprentice who are reluctance to spend cash in unknown territory just because their inadequacy in the play.

One more advantage of cyberspace poker playing is that there is only insignificant limitation related to the online game whereas that limitation is very high at land-based poker games. In addition to above, a player can opt to play a lower value as low as a cent on cyberspace when compared to the offline game where it is impossible to find such a place in actual casino places.

    Poker Odds Calculator

     Monday, March 22nd, 2010

Calculating poker odds can be easy for some games and difficult for others. The key to calculating poker odds properly is having a solid understanding of the math behind the poker game you are playing. In 7 Card Stud HL for example. If the other player has 4 low cards on the board, it is safe to assume that he will qualify for the low hand. If you do not have a better possible low hand or at least a high pair, you should fold.

2-7 Triple Draw is another game that requires the use of an odds calculator. There really isn’t a reliable odds calc out there for 27 Triple Draw though. You will have to calculate the odds, including the pot odds, in your head.

If he draws 1 card on the last draw and you do the same, you might want to call his final bet even if you caught a high card. The odds of him pairing up or catching a higher cards as well as the pot odds, will indicate that calling is +EV in most cases.

    Online Poker Networks

     Monday, March 22nd, 2010

There are hundreds of  poker rooms on the internet in 2010. A vast majority of these rooms are part of an online poker network. These rooms are called  skins. Basically, they share players and software with all of the other rooms on the network. On some poker networks skins number in the hundreds. This had created an era of scandals and scams. Not all poker networks are bad but most of them have “rogue rooms” that give the network an overall bad reputation. That is the problem when networks rent their software to anyone. It leads to hundreds of skins that are managed by one or two man teams. Sometimes these people disappear, along with everyone’s money, and the network corporations do nothing.

I will play at the leading rooms for several networks, such as Cake Poker, Aced Poker and UB Poker. For the most part though I stick with the main independent poker rooms in 2010, like Pokerstars and Full Tilt Poker.

    What Is 7-Game Mix Poker?

     Saturday, August 29th, 2009

You’ve been waiting for, asking for it, wishing for it.  And Full Tilt Poker listened.  A new mixed game is now available on the Full Tilt Poker site – 7 game poker.  Just when everyone was thinking that they couldn’t keep up with Poker Stars, Full Tilt proved that they are back in the game with this mixed poker variation that combines seven of the most often played poker games into one exciting hybrid.  7-game mix is only available on the Full Tilt Poker site and is becoming one of the site favorites.  Let’s take a better look at this 8 game spin off (no triple-draw makes it a better fit for many poker players).

    What is 7 Game Poker?

The 7 game poker mix is made up of fixed versions of holdem, seven card stud high/low, razz, Omaha high/low, seven card stud, no limit Texas holdem and pot limit Omaha.  The game is officially called HEROSHA, which stands for:

    (H) - Fixed Limit Hold’em

    (E) - Fixed Limit 7 Card Stud H/L

    (R) - Fixed Limit Razz Poker

    (O) - Fixed Limit Omaha H/L

    (S) - Fixed Limit Seven Card Stud

    (H) - No Limit Texas Hold’em

    (A) - Pot Limit Omaha

    7 Game Stakes

The 7 game poker tables are filling up fast and staying that way – and with players like Gus Hansen and Richard Ashby at the $1K/$2K tables – we can see why.  In mixed games that are similar to 7 game poker, oftentimes the site will make the pot limit and no limit stakes games lower.  This is in an attempt to make the average pot sizes for those games similar to the fixed limit games.  For example, if the stakes are $.50/$1 on the no limit and pot limit tables, then the stakes for the fixed limit rotations will be $2/$4.  There are lots of higher stakes tables active on the Full Tilt site as well for those of you who like to play for more cash.

    Promotions

Full Tilt Poker is a great place to find primo promotions – and they are beefing up in honor of their newly released mixed game. You can get a 100% up to $600 deposit bonus by using the code HORSE600 when you register for your account and make a deposit.  That will also enter you for private freerolls – so you really score with this code.  This is only good at Full Tilt- and Full Tilt is the only place you’ll find 7 game poker.

    7 Game Tournaments

For those of you who are waiting for 7 game tournaments to be announced, they are in the works.  Get ready to beef up your tournament strategy by reading our strategy articles, including our newly added 7 game poker strategy article.  Additionally, it’s a good idea to head over to Full Tilt and play this mixed version of the game to get prepared for the tournaments.  Knowing Full Tilt, there’s likely to be a huge turnout for tournament action – so get ready now.  We also have published a guide to 7 game that goes over the rules in more details so that you can be better prepared and our 7 game mix poker tips article will give you some inside pointers for each of the games in the rotation.

    Horse poker strategy

     Sunday, May 3rd, 2009

In Middle stakes HORSE poker the games are generally more tight then in low stakes HORSE poker. Flops seen go down from 49% to 43%. This does not seem a lot, but it means that on a full table 2 people LESS see the flop (or next street) then in low stakes HORSE. This is a vital stat to work w with in middle stakes  poker horse as you will be able who plays way more then the average. Unfortunately when you play at middle stakes there are still players that do not know what they are playing. They might be extremely loose or aggressive. This is not the best strategy for HORSE poker as in almost every single game in HORSE the “nut” hand chances on every street or card. Therefore it is important to play strong hands passively against aggressive players. Pokerstars is the best place for horse. Our promo code Pokerstars offers a huge bonus.

They need the chance to hang themselves and they will make the pot big for you to take down on the final betting round. Most of the players in middle stakes HORSE poker are players that moved up from low stakes and if they only just played a few times in middle stakes they might still be used to calling every hand or every bet like players are used to in low stakes HORSE poker.

    Poker Strategy Guides

     Tuesday, April 14th, 2009

Earlier I found the best poker strategy guide web site. Its www.pokerstrategyguides.com, it contains rules and strategy for just about every poker game. Even uncommon games like 27 triple draw, poker HORSE, Badugi and Razz are listed there. The articles are well written and as far as I can tell contain sound strategic advice. Granted I’m not much of a triple draw or badugi player but at a glance it looks like winning tips.

Another great thing about this site is their huge bonus offers. They have several special bonus codes that will give you access to huge first deposit bonuses. these are not the standard bonuses that most sites offer. If you are looking for a new room to play at this site offers poker room reviews as well.

Please visit the site and check it out for yourself.
